In July 2005, we have carried out the privatization of UCA and since than the company operates under the name UCA INTERNATIONAL, with 100% participation of private capital. There was a complete overhaul of the production line and the production of high quality berets continued.
We produce berets for the military and civilian programs, made of 100% new wool yarn and high quality materials. The quality of used materials and finished berets are under constant control at the Textile Institute CIS in Belgrade.
Military berets are made solely on the basis of submitted samples or technical documents which are compatible with our counter samples. The pricing is based on the complexity of the berets, quantity and time limit required.

UCA Company has 80 years long tradition. The establishment year is considered to be 1924, when the service-craft workshop for cleaning and styling hats expands its business and takes on the character of industrial manufacturing, introducing machinery for the production of hats and berets.
Thanks to a long-standing tradition, very careful nurturing, preserving and developing of the special master workmen, the company has achieved a high quality reputation and significant position in domestic and foreign markets.
Annual amounts of delivered Berets to foreign buyers, until the introduction of economic sanctions, ranged from 300 - 400 thousand pieces. Some of the most important military partners were NATO countries, UN and many of the Arab countries. Civilian partners were: in the UK (Compton Webb, Marvelfairs Limited, CT Co.), in Denmark (Hotri-Lars Trier Hansen), in the Netherlands (Hassing), France and the Russian Federation.
